The Sarojin is charmingly ensconced in a garden setting with direct private access onto a secluded 11km white beach beside the Andaman Sea, riven by a saltwater estuary and just one hour north of Phuket International Airport in Khao Lak in the Phang Nga province of Thailand.
The Sarojin beach by virtue of being sheltered by Pakarang Cape, a coral cape headland, provides year-round swimming and water sports.
The Sarojin is surrounded inland by the spectacular primary forests of the adventurous Khao Lak and Khao Sok National Parks. The Similan Islands Marine National Park, one of the top ten world dive sites, is less than an hour away by boat. Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its sheer limestone rock formations and hidden caves and lagoons is 40 minutes away.

Khao Lak means mountain by the sea. Legend has it that a wizard resided in the mountain. The small shrine of Chao Pho Khao Lak is dedicated to the wizard of the mountain. Khao Lak is an area of outstanding beauty in Thailand. Pure white beaches, cascading waterfalls, spectacular primary forest, idyllic lagoons and wildlife abound. Khao Lak National Park is home to some of the oldest primary forest in the world and is easily accessible. The historic old town of Takuapa lies 20km north and was formerly the most important town on the west coast due to previous vast tin repositories and mining in the area. The old town retains much evidence of its historic importance including several old teak houses and the Governor's residence. |
